Satpal Ram

On December 12 last year the parole board rejected Satpal ram's application for parole, consequently Satpal will have to serve another two years before his case comes up for review again. Satpal Ram has now served 11 years for defending himself against a racist attacker (who subsequently died). In those 11 years he has been moved 53 times, an abuse in itself, and has been regularly victimised by various prison regimes.
